The Stroganov Palace

The exhibition introduces oeuvre of Daniel Biskup - one of the leading German photographers, who works in the genre of report and portrait photography. The exhibition includes works created in St. Petersburg in 1993-2003. The city is seen through the eyes of the photographer. It is many-sided and full of contrasts; it is the city of front facades and dark yards; the city of dwellers of communal flats and of "golden youth". The artist, as an independent observer, has caught such moments in the life of St. Petersburg that show contradictory relationship between the city and its citizens.

Animals in the imitative arts
From 17 February till 1 April
17 February - 1 April, Rybinsk State Historical-Architectural and Artistic Preserve Museum

There was opened an exhibition "Our younger brother…" (animals in the imitative arts). People's life has always been connected with the nature. When a man knew and subdued a lot of nature laws he thought himself a "king", who can empty-headed use it's gifts, upset it's balance and connectivities. About results of such attitude to the nature, we know a lot. Maybe we should learn from our ancestors how to live in concord and unity with the nature.
